Chevrolet is preparing an early automotive tribute to America’s 250th birthday with the launch of its Stars & Steel Collection, a limited styling program that spans five models and culminates in a one-off Corvette ZR1X destined for a high-profile charity auction.
The initiative coincides with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026 and includes the Corvette, Silverado EV, Silverado Light Duty, Silverado Heavy Duty and Colorado. Each vehicle in the collection features design elements inspired by the American flag, reflecting Chevrolet’s long-standing ties to U.S. manufacturing and heritage.

The Corvette serves as the centerpiece of the collection and is the only model limited by production numbers. Just 250 Stars & Steel Corvettes will be built, available across the range from the Stingray through the high-performance ZR1X. The package is restricted to 3LT and 3LZ trims and includes full-length stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black, paired with special “250” flag graphics on the doors and rear spoiler ends.
Buyers will choose between Arctic White paint with a Santorini Blue interior or Black with an Adrenaline Red interior. Additional visual details include red accent touches and a choice of wheel finishes, including optional carbon-fiber wheels.
The most exclusive example will be a one-of-one Corvette ZR1X finished in Stars & Steel specification. That car will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Winter Auction on Jan. 24, 2026, with all proceeds benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports injured veterans and honors fallen first responders.
Chevrolet’s pickup trucks also receive Stars & Steel treatments, though only specific configurations are included. Eligible models are the Silverado Light Duty RST Crew Cab Short Box 4WD, Silverado Heavy Duty LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss 4WD, Colorado Trail Boss Crew Cab 4WD and Silverado EV RST Crew Cab. All feature flag-inspired stripes, “250” graphics, gloss-black wheels ranging from 20 to 24 inches, Summit White or black exterior paint and black interiors.
These trucks come heavily equipped, meaning pricing is expected to exceed standard versions. Chevrolet will also offer a broader Stars & Steel Appearance Package across its truck lineup. Production begins in early spring 2026, with pricing details to follow.
