Chevrolet Launches Limited Stars and Steel Corvette Series Ahead of America’s 250th Anniversary

Chevrolet is marking the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary with a new collection of American-built vehicles highlighted by a run of 250 limited-edition Corvettes and a single, custom-designed Corvette set to be auctioned next year. The America250 “Stars and Steel” series spans five models in Chevrolet’s 2026 lineup, including the Corvette, Silverado EV, Silverado LD, Silverado HD and Colorado. All feature dark, metallic design themes intended to reflect American craftsmanship and the brand’s long presence in the United States.

The centerpiece of the program is a one-of-one 2026 Corvette ZR1X finished with a design exclusive to the anniversary collection. That car will cross the block at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Winter Auction on Jan. 24, 2026, with proceeds benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a veterans and first responder support nonprofit. The car is still undergoing final production work, but Chevrolet confirmed it will represent the highest-performing model in the anniversary lineup.

The broader “Stars and Steel” Corvette offering limits production to 250 units across the full range, from the Stingray to the ZR1X. Coupes and convertibles will be available only in upper 3LT and 3LZ trims. Buyers may select between Arctic White with a Santorini Blue interior or black paired with Adrenaline Red. Each vehicle receives full-length stripes inspired by the American flag, model-specific “250” graphics, unique sill plates, wheels in gloss black, carbon-flash or carbon fiber finishes, and an interior plaque identifying its build sequence.

The full collection will make its public debut during the Army-Navy football game in Baltimore. Chevrolet plans to begin production in early spring 2026, with package pricing to be released at a later date. The company also intends to donate $250 to veteran-focused nonprofits for every “Stars and Steel” vehicle sold.

The announcement arrives as federal agencies and private partners ramp up preparations for national celebrations tied to the country’s 250th anniversary in 2026. Events will span multiple sectors, including planned cultural and sporting activities leading up to the milestone year.
