1929 Model A Tudor Sedan Street Rod Has Both Class And Sass

Only 200 miles have been clocked since its completion

When it came to cars, the '20s were a simpler time. Ford's Model T that had been produced for 18 years (1908-1927) was replaced with the Model A capable of 40 horsepower and reached a top speed of 65 miles per hour. This meticulously built 1929 Model A Tudor Sedan Street Rod offered by Unique Specialty and Classics is full of modern amenities.

No longer sedated, this hot street rod is now wide awake thanks to a 350 SBC V8 paired with an automatic transmission with overdrive. Tri-power (three two-barrel carburetors) sit atop the small-block Chevy engine, and long chrome headers visibly flow from the engine down the exterior. In addition, an electric fan and electric fuel pump keep things running smoothly.

Peek inside the sedan to an immaculate two-tone gray and burgundy interior with bucket seats up front and a bench seat out back with a rear center console. It features a tilt steering wheel column and an overhead console equipped with controls for the power windows and stereo. Let's not forget the air conditioning that keeps the cabin nice and cool.

Painted in a deep burgundy, the body is made of steel with no fiberglass to be found. A ribbed roof adds a custom touch and comes equipped with a power antenna, and the car features door poppers that are said to work perfectly.

Below, a flawless undercarriage shows no imperfections. High-quality components were installed including a chrome drop axle with independent shocks. Even more, the car features a quick change rear end out back along with adjustable coil over shocks.

Only 200 miles have been clocked on the build since its completion. Perfect for a weekend cruiser or car show participant, this 1929 Ford Model A Tudor street rod is bound to break necks no matter where it goes.
