2026 Corvette Adds Smart Tech Without Sacrificing Driver Engagement

Chevrolet’s 2026 Corvette aims to strike a rare balance—delivering high-performance thrills while quietly integrating advanced driver assistance and tech-forward convenience. In a new Corvette Owner Academy video, GM showcases how the next-generation model enhances everyday usability without dulling its racing-inspired edge.

The video, introduced by Corvette CMF Design Lead Emma Mikalauskas, opens inside the newly redesigned cabin. The driver-focused interior now features a wraparound, three-screen layout that places technology at the center of the experience. The setup includes a 14-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.7-inch central display, and a 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen positioned to the left of the steering wheel. Together, they provide immersive visibility into performance metrics, vehicle settings, and infotainment controls.

The video also highlights the array of customizable driving modes that let owners fine-tune their experience. Options such as Weather, Tour, Sport, and Track are joined by two personalized profiles — My Mode and Z Mode — giving drivers control over steering, suspension, throttle, and exhaust characteristics.

Every 2026 Corvette will also include a built-in Performance App, allowing drivers to monitor key data like g-forces, tire pressure, and engine output directly from the central screen. For practicality, an available front lift system raises the nose by about two inches to avoid scraping over steep driveways or speed bumps. Impressively, it can memorize up to 1,000 locations using GPS data, automatically activating at saved spots.

Safety hasn’t been overlooked. Standard features include Rear Park Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and an HD Rear Vision Camera. Optional upgrades add Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, and an HD Curb View Camera.

By blending intuitive driver aids with its signature performance DNA, the 2026 Corvette proves that cutting-edge technology and driver engagement can coexist—without compromise.
