Not only is this a fun car to drive, but it’s also a pretty cool collectible. This 1991 Special Edition Miata MX-5 is number 389 of just 4,000 models built. It has only 16,000 original documented miles, which means this car has its whole life ahead of it! This is arguably one of the most immaculate examples available today. The vehicle is in excellent condition, is bone stock and all original. It’s a true time capsule.

This Miata comes with both a hardtop and a soft top – both in mint condition. The sale includes all the tools, books, original window sticker, spare tire, service history, brochures, and original Mazda documentation from when the car was bought brand new. It also comes with a never-before-used front bra and tonneau cover for added protection. From every angle and every inch of its body to the engine bay and cabin, this 1991 example is in pristine condition and is perfect for drives and car shows alike.

The 1991 Miata MX-5 (NA) Special Edition (SE) is the first special-edition Miata and the one that set the trend of what became standard features for the more lux models to follow. This edition was distinguished by its stunning British Racing Green exterior and included some upgrades in the cabin. The tan leather interior came equipped air conditioning, leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, AM/FM cassette radio, headrest speakers, stainless sills plates, and a wood Nardi shifter and handbrake. Nothing changed under the hood for this series, so it still was powered by the 1.6-liter inline-four engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
