Powering this full-size hardtop coupe is a 327ci V8 engine, which was recently rebuilt. In fact, the seller says about 1,000 miles have been put on the car since, so you’ll get a smooth-running machine. The 2-speed Power Glide transmission was also rebuilt. The seller also replaced a huge list of drivetrain and chassis parts, plus coated the frame to protect against corrosion. A Wilwood rear brake disc conversion kit provides great stopping power, considering it features 4-piston calipers. A dual reservoir master cylinder has been added, as well as 2-inch drop spindles on the front suspension, which gives a nice effect.

That nice, creamy white paint job shines up nicely since it’s completely new, presenting well for just cruising around town or entering this ride in a show. Numerous new parts were added to the exterior, like the chrome bumpers, windshield, roof rails, headlights, etc. Providing a nice retro appearance while also injecting some modern styling are new 20-inch American Racing Classic Torque Thrust wheels.

Contrasting with the white exterior is a black interior. It also has been fully restored with all new carpeting, headliner, door panels, visors, seats, and more.

Thanks to a broad appeal, the 1965 Chevrolet Impalas were super popular. It is the models with V8 engines, especially the SS, that are considered highly collectible today. This car is a solid investment, plus it’s plenty of fun to own and will always make a big splash at any show.
