Unique 1992 Cadillac DeVille Flower Car Offered Without Reserve from The Generous Collection

A rare 1992 Cadillac Sedan DeVille converted into a custom funeral flower car joins The Generous Collection auction lineup.

Among the hundreds of classic and collectible vehicles featured in The Generous Collection, one of the most distinctive is a 1992 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that has been converted into a custom funeral flower car. Offered without reserve through Broad Arrow Auctions, the car represents both Cadillac’s traditional luxury and the creativity that defined many custom coachbuilt vehicles of its era.

Originally one of Cadillac’s most refined sedans, the 1992 DeVille carried a 4.9-liter V8 producing 200 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 4T60-E electronically controlled automatic transmission. The car’s front-wheel-drive layout, smooth suspension, and extensive sound insulation made it a top choice for comfort-minded buyers in the early 1990s.

This particular example has been reimagined for ceremonial service, featuring an open stainless and aluminum rear bed with side rails—designed for carrying floral tributes during processions. Finished in pearl white with a vinyl roof over gray leather upholstery, the car retains its elegant Cadillac demeanor, even with the unusual modification.

Inside, the DeVille remains well equipped, including power accessories, dual-zone climate control, an electrochromic rearview mirror, and an upgraded Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo. A clean CARFAX report accompanies the vehicle, tracing ownership through Georgia and Alabama.

As with many cars in The Generous Collection, this Cadillac has spent years in static storage and will require attention before returning to the road. Its imperfections include worn seats, cracked vinyl on the roof, and minor paint flaws, but its rarity as a flower car ensures appeal for collectors and enthusiasts of custom coachwork alike.

Offered without reserve, this one-of-a-kind Cadillac will cross the block alongside more than 200 other vehicles from the late Greg Rusk’s remarkable and heartfelt collection in October. See it here.
