SEMA 2024 showcases cutting-edge aftermarket innovations.
The 2024 SEMA show once again delivered an electrifying lineup of aftermarket products and custom builds, captivating car enthusiasts from around the world. RestoMods was on-site to highlight some of the best aftermarket innovations.
From the show floor, notable industry experts like Kell from BluePrint Engines, Damien from QA1, and SEMA Hall of Fame inductee Rick Love of Vintage Air shared insights into their latest offerings. These interviews showcased advancements in performance engines, suspension systems, and air conditioning solutions for classic and modern vehicles alike.
Stealing the spotlight, not at the event, however, was RestoMods’ RM28 giveaway car, a custom-built 1970 Plymouth HEMI ’Cuda RestoMod. This one-of-a-kind creation is powered by a 6.1L HEMI V8 crate engine paired with a 5-speed Tremec manual transmission and a Hurst shifter. Performance features include Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, front and rear coilovers, and a FiTech fuel pressure regulator. For precise handling, the car is equipped with tubular front control arms and an AlterKtion K-member.
The exterior boasts a stunning red finish accented by black “CUDA” and “HEMI 6.1L” graphics, US Mags Rambler wheels, Toyo Proxes tires, and Ringbrothers hood hinges and side mirrors. Modernized touches such as shaved door handles with a keyless entry system and VintageAir A/C ensure comfort and convenience. The interior is equally refined, featuring Procar leather and Alcantara seats, Autometer gauges, a Lecarra steering wheel, and a Holley Terminator X engine management system for seamless operation.
