It's crazy how advanced this car is for having been built in 2012, especially when you're looking at the various interior and exterior features which put aerodynamics and driver-focus first. In the past, many fans of McLaren have looked to models like F1 that utilize a V12 engine but there's something a lot more unsuspecting within the engine bay of this vehicle.
As you fire up the racer, you’ll hear the distinct sound of a rumbling V8 engine with both great displacement and some boost to match. In total, 3.8-liters of displacement pump through the block making it pretty easy to push out some great power figures. That would be pretty great on its own but the twin-turbochargers definitely help things a lot and make the vehicle pretty ionic to most performance lovers. Topping the whole car off is a seven-speed automatic with dual clutches transfering all 592 horsepower and 443 lb/ft of torque to the wheels. Overall, it's a great vehicle for road and track driving. The only thing left to decide is who will race it next.
