A fully restored 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400, chassis number 3135, is set to headline Broad Arrow’s Zurich Auction on November 1, 2025. Estimated to bring between CHF 1.75 million and CHF 2 million, the car represents one of the most significant offerings of the season — a landmark example of Lamborghini’s first true supercar, now certified by the factory’s Polo Storico division.

Delivered new in September 1967 to its first owner in Chiavari, Italy, this Miura retains its original Rosso Miura exterior paired with a Nero leather interior. Built under the direction of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the Miura P400 revolutionized automotive design with its transversely mounted, mid-engine 4.0-liter V12 — a layout that would define high-performance sports cars for decades. Producing 350 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, the Miura combined lightweight construction, innovative engineering, and breathtaking design by Marcello Gandini for Bertone.

Chassis 3135’s ownership history is both rich and traceable. After remaining in Italy for two decades, the car was registered in Germany in the 1970s before passing to a Swedish collector who kept it for 25 years. During his ownership, the Miura underwent a careful restoration and later reunited with its original engine, an important milestone for collectors and historians alike.

In 2019, the current Swiss owner commissioned Polo Storico Lamborghini and Officina Classiche Gabbioneta to complete a factory-standard restoration. The process involved a component-by-component evaluation, ensuring everything from the rubber hood seals to the electrical switches matched original specifications. Upon completion in 2022, the car earned Polo Storico’s Certificato di Autenticità, confirming its full compliance with Lamborghini’s factory records.

The Miura P400, often hailed as the world’s first modern supercar, embodies the innovation and youthful daring that defined Lamborghini’s early years. Its sleek, low-slung silhouette and distinctive engineering have made it an enduring icon — one that continues to symbolize the brand’s transformation from ambitious newcomer to automotive legend.
With its originality, documented provenance, and expert restoration, this Miura is more than a collector’s centerpiece; it is a piece of automotive history poised to captivate bidders when it crosses the block in Zurich.
