A bold symbol of the final years of the muscle car era, a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is drawing attention in the Motorious inventory. Sporting its original 351-cubic-inch Cleveland V8, this striking fastback embodies the evolution of American performance in the early 1970s.
Presented in Ivy Glow metallic, a rarely seen factory color, the Mach 1 wears silver stripe accents and Mach 1 badging, staying true to its heritage. The car’s long hood, dual-scoop nose, and fastback roofline make a powerful visual statement, complemented by Centerline wheels and staggered-size tires. While minor paint imperfections and rust are noted under the hood and trunk lids, the body remains straight and visually impressive.
Inside, the Mustang features newly upholstered black high-back bucket seats with a fold-down rear bench, woodgrain dash accents, and a T-handle automatic shifter. A modern radio unit and original gauges round out the cabin, though the clock and reverse lights are currently non-functional.

Though not a concours example, this Mach 1 offers a blend of originality and performance-focused updates. Surface rust on the undercarriage is visible but not structurally concerning, according to auction representatives.
