Low-Mile 2003 Corvette 50th Anniversary Convertible Offered Without Reserve in Florida

A 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 50th Anniversary Edition with just over 39,000 miles is currently offered without reserve in Ocala, Florida, marking a notable opportunity tied to a milestone year for America’s sports car. The example, finished in the exclusive Anniversary Red exterior and paired with a Shale leather interior, commemorates 50 years of Corvette production and reflects Chevrolet’s effort to blend performance, technology, and presentation for the occasion.

Chevrolet introduced the 50th Anniversary Edition following the use of a prototype convertible as the official pace car for the 2002 Indianapolis 500. The production models carried distinctive cosmetic and mechanical upgrades, including special badging, embroidered interior details, and color-coordinated trim elements. A total of 7,547 50th Anniversary convertibles were produced, making the package relatively limited within the C5 generation.

Power comes from a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 rated at 350 horsepower, paired with a four-speed 4L60E automatic transaxle. For 2003, Chevrolet introduced Magnetic Selective Ride Control as standard equipment on Anniversary models, allowing the suspension to adapt in real time for a balance of ride comfort and handling. Additional factory features include a head-up display, memory settings, electrochromic mirrors, a power telescoping steering column, and an electronically tuned AM/FM/CD audio system.

The car shows 39,450 miles and has been subtly updated with chrome-polished C5 Z06 aluminum wheels, a Corsa performance exhaust system, and European-specification tail lamps. According to the listing, the Corvette retains a clean CARFAX history report and has been registered in Florida since new. A recently installed battery is also noted.

Known cosmetic imperfections include small touched-up rock chips on the front end, cracking or degradation of the hood and decklid emblems, and water spotting on horizontal paint surfaces. These issues are disclosed alongside a standard as-is sale condition typical of collector vehicles.

Offered from the Burnyzz Collection of January vehicles, the sale includes two keys and fobs, original owner’s manuals, two sets of floor mats, a cargo divider, wind blocker, color-keyed front-end bra, and period magazines featuring 50th Anniversary Corvette coverage. The auction is scheduled to end Thursday, Jan. 29, with active bidding underway.
