Jimmie Johnson’s personal 2024 Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition—1 of 56 built—celebrates NASCAR’s Le Mans return.
A rare piece of modern motorsport and muscle car history has emerged: a 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Garage 56 Edition once owned by seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson. This ultra-limited ZL1—one of just 56 produced—was built to honor Chevrolet’s groundbreaking Garage 56 entry at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans, which marked the return of a V8-powered stock car to the iconic endurance race.

Now available with just 10 delivery miles, this collector-grade example bears even greater historical weight, having been personally owned by Johnson, who co-drove the Le Mans entry. Finished in Riptide Blue Metallic with a gold-outlined center stripe and a monochrome American flag graphic across the roof, the car also features Garage 56 fender badges, Hendrick Motorsports sail panel insignias, and NASCAR 75th Anniversary logos. Optional #24 race livery matches the actual Le Mans car.

Beneath its aerodynamic skin lies a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 producing 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, mated to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual gearbox. Track tech includes Magnetic Ride Control, ZL1 1LE aero components like dive planes and a Cup-style wicker bill spoiler, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, and a Performance Data Recorder.

Inside, the cabin remains untouched—Recaro sport seats still in their wrappers, red stitching, carbon fiber accents, and a commemorative steering wheel badge. Garage 56-branded floor mats and a suede-trimmed interior reinforce the car’s celebratory intent.

This ZL1 not only caps off the sixth-generation Camaro with a track-focused flourish, but stands as a lasting tribute to one of Chevrolet’s most audacious racing moments—and a personal chapter in Jimmie Johnson’s storied career.
