Great Camaros And Trans Ams Are Selling At The Big Boy’s Toys Sale This Weekend

These three American performance cars are the perfect speed-loving trio.

In 1979, the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was pretty much the sleekest-looking car on the streets and had the best chance of providing your performance without breaking the bank on a supercar. For these reasons, it was chosen as the Daytona 500 pace car and this particular model shows off exactly why it was so good at basically everything it was tasked to do. First of all, it has a 6.6 l V8 engine which delivered more than enough torque to rip off the starting line in its prime. On top of that, the 275/40/17 tires perfectly wrapped around a set of vintage racing wheels. These are all very important aspects of a pony car but probably the biggest attractor is the way that those Daytona decals look on the body of such a well-maintained Trans Am.

Another awesome model that also Bears the title of a Daytona 500 pace car is this car built in 1981. This Pontiac Firebird Trans Am shows off its white exterior and a Powertrain that you definitely wouldn't expect from an American legend like this. 4.9 L of displacement flows through the engine block of this V8 but that isn't the surprising part. The most incredible thing about this Powerhouse is the turbocharger which allowed the car to go a lot faster than most others at the time. Topping everything off is the WS6 package which is still considered an incredibly rare, valuable, and sought-after option.

Finally, this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro might not be a pace car but it is a great representation of everything GM did right. The black body, vintage Wheels, and convertible top all made this vehicle an icon for its time. On top of that, the white racing decals wrapped around the front show off that this 327 cubic inches V8-powered monster knew exactly how to use its performance. Overall, all three of these cars show off the best of both Pontiac and Chevrolet which makes them perfect contenders for your automotive collection.
