Daniel Ricciardo’s Bespoke Aston Martin Valkyrie to Cross Auction Block at Zoute Concours

Formula One star Daniel Ricciardo’s custom Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar, one of 150 built, heads to auction.

A rare Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar owned by Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo will be among the headline lots at the 2025 Zoute Concours Auction, where it is expected to bring between €2.4 million and €2.8 million.

Ricciardo, known to fans as the “Honey Badger,” commissioned chassis No. 089 through Aston Martin Monaco. The car, finished in a special Q Division color called Dichroic Dawn, was nicknamed “Badger Blue” in reference to his racing moniker. Matching accents on the roof strakes and wheel centers, along with magnesium performance wheels and exposed satin carbon fiber trim, set this example apart. In total, Ricciardo specified more than £140,000 in bespoke options.

One of only 150 Valkyries built, the car has just 160 kilometers on the odometer, having been kept in Ricciardo’s private collection since delivery. It remains virtually in as-new condition, accompanied by Aston Martin’s comprehensive 24-month service and an extended factory warranty through August 2027.

The Valkyrie program was conceived as a partnership between Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies under the direction of Formula One designer Adrian Newey. The result is a road car with performance figures closer to an endurance prototype: a Cosworth-built 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 paired with a hybrid system produces 1,160 horsepower, while the carbon monocoque chassis and extreme aerodynamics generate extraordinary levels of downforce.

Inside, the car features a stripped-down, motorsport-inspired cabin with fixed carbon-fiber bucket seats, Alcantara upholstery, and a removable Formula One-style steering wheel with integrated instrumentation.

For collectors, the offering of Ricciardo’s Valkyrie is a rare opportunity. Beyond its technical specifications, the provenance of being commissioned by a Grand Prix winner adds significant appeal, making it one of the most anticipated lots of the Zoute Concours sale. See it here.
