2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Is A Fierce Competitor

Get snake bit!

When you look at the other American cars being produced around the same time, it is clear that the Viper was definitely ahead of its time. Additionally, the first examples were put together in record time as well. Exactly two years from the start date, one of the pre-production models piloted by Carroll Shelby kicked off and kept pace for the 1991 Indianapolis 500. Later that year, Dodge provided car reviewers and media access to the car and began delivering pre-ordered cars first thing in 1992.

Though the Viper had its ups and downs throughout its 21 years of production, it was an immediate success. Engineers were constantly improving on the design and each generation of the model brought vast improvements over the last.

This 2003 Viper is fully loaded and in excellent condition. It's powered by a beefy 8.3-liter V10 engine, that's backed by a Tremec T56 6-speed. The engine is rated at 500-horsepower and 525 lb.-ft. of torque. It exhales through a set of dual exhaust pipes. This first year of the third-generation Viper example has been owned by only one person since new, who received it new to Windsor Chrysler in Ontario, Canada, and has only 14,900 miles on the clock.

It is finished in a Bright Silver Metallic paint job, with black leather with suede trim inside. In addition, it has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power trunk release, air conditioning, anti-lock brakes, fog lamps, and factory stereo with CD player. It rolls on factory 18-inch front and 19-inch rear polished alloy wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Included with the car is the original window sticker and owner's manual.
