For Chevy enthusiasts, it doesn’t get much better than a 1969 Camaro with the top down showing off the Deluxe Black and White Houndstooth interior and for a 1969 Camaro it doesn’t get much better than this. Available exclusively online at Motorious Convertible Only Online Auction, this beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS Convertible is something very special. A perfect mix of all of the best features of the generation and completely restored with incredible detail.
Completely redone from base to clear coat, the Rally Red paint is polished to a high gloss sheen and Black Super Sport stripes adorn the cowl hood. The black power convertible top has been replaced along with the black Boot for when the top is down. Every piece of chrome and stainless on this car shines like it should. Front and rear spoilers and a set of 15” SS Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires finish off the cars look.
The Deluxe Interior with bucket seats and center console is accurately done with black and white Houndstooth seat covers and deluxe door panels. However the addition of custom armrests and cup holders is a nice touch that adds a bit of modern comfort. The dash is in very good condition and features a working tachometer. Likewise, the console gauges are also in good working condition.
Giving this Chevy a heartbeat, a 350 cubic-inch engine dressed with the factory style air cleaner and finned valve covers sits under the hood. The attention to detail spent making the engine bay appear completely factory is extraordinary right down to the use of GM hoses and factory style exhaust manifolds. Transferring power to the 12 bolt posi rear end with 3.55 gears is a Turbo 350 transmission perfectly cradled beneath a rock solid undercarriage. See it here.
