Stunning 1963 Split-Window Corvette Is Selling At Throttle Car Club’s Inaugural Auction

This ‘Vette is top tier no matter the era.

The second generation of Corvette was probably the most iconic GM vehicle to ever be produced for a lot of reasons. Some of which include the style, performance, or even the innovations that went into handling/suspension. Without a doubt, you might’ve even dreamt of owning one of these vehicles someday. Just take this model for example that makes many other Corvettes, even of the same generation look amateur in comparison.

One of the first things that may strike you is just how good the body looks for its age. You won’t find any blemishes on the exterior panels or even the interior as the Chevy has been well maintained. The paint job is a Saddle Tan with a matching interior, both of which are beautiful in their own right. If you’re wondering how the mechanical aspect of the vehicle has held up over time then you should know that only 30,100 miles are shown on the odometer. All of these things make the Corvette a great classic for these days.

However, there were also a lot of options that positioned this sports car as the best of its era. One such feature is the 327 cubic inch V8 engine which would have been more than capable of producing around 250 horsepower back in the day. On top of that, the four speed manual transmission was better for gas mileage, performance, and control compared to any automatic of the 1960s. Altogether, it’s very impressive that this vehicle was built in 1963 and still retains everything that made it fun in the first place which is why you should consider getting behind the wheel.
