Factory A-code Fastback with GT350 styling, modern suspension, Wilwood brakes, and a built 289 V8—street and track ready.
A classic 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback, factory-born as an A-code car, has been transformed into a street-legal performer with serious track-inspired chops. Featuring GT350-style visuals and aggressive B Production livery, this modified Mustang blends vintage muscle with contemporary engineering for a potent driving experience.

Under the hood lies a built 289-cubic-inch V8 paired to a Top Loader 4-speed manual transmission and a 9-inch rear axle equipped with a locker. Long-tube headers feed into a custom 3-inch dual exhaust with an X-pipe and SpinTech mufflers, giving the Fastback a race-ready bark.

Handling and braking are equally upgraded. The chassis is outfitted with fully adjustable suspension components, Koni shocks, performance sway bars, an adjustable panhard bar, and a strut tower brace. Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes and a Wilwood master cylinder ensure powerful and responsive stopping.

Inside, comfort and function meet with TMI reclining front seats, a factory-style fold-down rear seat, Dakota RXT digital gauges, and a Vintage Air A/C system. A custom audio setup includes a Custom Autosound stereo, amplifier, and speaker/subwoofer box for modern sound in a classic package.
Riding on 18x10 American Racing wheels and wrapped in performance rubber, this Mustang fastback is ready to turn heads at shows or carve corners with confidence. Whether it’s the daily commute or a weekend autocross, this restomod delivers authentic ‘60s charm with 21st-century performance.

Offered with a full complement of upgrades and a clean presentation, this 1965 Mustang A-code Fastback represents the ideal fusion of classic design and modern capability. See it here.
