A seriously well-executed track-day BMW 2002 has just surfaced for sale on Hagerty Marketplace, and it's exactly the kind of build that reminds enthusiasts why the 02-series remains one of the most beloved sports coupes of its era. This final-year 1976 example has been transformed from a tidy commuter coupe into a purpose-built circuit weapon, and the execution is hard to fault.
Under the hood sits the 2.0-liter M10 inline-four, breathing through a downdraft carburetor and a K&N filter that pokes proudly through the hood.
