Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Phantom Centenary Private Collection, a landmark series of 25 bespoke vehicles commemorating 100 years of the brand’s flagship model. This exclusive creation, described as the most complex and technologically advanced private collection ever produced by the marque, honors a century of Phantom’s influence in design, engineering, and culture.
Developed over three years, the project involved a record number of designers, engineers, and artisans who sought to capture Phantom’s legacy through handcrafted detail and symbolic storytelling. The team explored pivotal figures, historic owners, and defining journeys that shaped the Phantom nameplate from 1925 to the present day. The result is a rolling work of art, combining new techniques such as 3D marquetry, ink layering, and 24-carat gold leafing into one cohesive expression of craftsmanship.
The exterior reflects timeless glamour, finished in a bespoke two-tone combination of Super Champagne Crystal and Arctic White, enhanced by crushed-glass particles for added depth. Each car’s Spirit of Ecstasy is recreated from the original 1925 casting, forged in solid gold, hallmarked, and plated in 24-carat gold. Even the traditional “RR” badges feature gold and white enamel, emphasizing the theme of celebration.
Inside, Phantom’s century-long story unfolds across the cabin. The rear seats feature printed and embroidered textiles inspired by the 1926 “Phantom of Love,” requiring over 160,000 stitches and collaboration with a couture atelier. Laser-etched leather, 3D woodwork, and gold-inlaid maps commemorate historic journeys connected to the marque’s founders.
A centerpiece known as the Anthology Gallery features sculpted aluminum fins resembling pages of a book, symbolizing Phantom’s evolving story. Above, an animated Starlight Headliner recreates scenes from the brand’s history in 440,000 stitches.
Each element—down to the 6.75-liter V12’s gold-detailed cover—reinforces the Phantom’s legacy as a symbol of excellence. With the Centenary Collection, Rolls-Royce transforms a century of prestige into a tangible, moving tribute to artistry and innovation.
