Dan Kruse Classics Heads To Midland Texas For June Auction

Cord and Kruse will be hosting the auction inventory.

Dan Kruse Classics has an auction docket that's really impressive to us at Motorious. It's very well aligned with what kind of news and features we cover - heavy on American engineering, while highlighting collectible works of art made over seas. Whenever they have an auction, it's hard to look away, so we wanted to share our picks of cars to watch in the upcoming Cord & Kruse Auction, taking place at the Horseshoe, Midland, Texas on June 4th. Here are some highlights.

2004 Pontiac GTO 40th Anniversary Edition

This is one of only 700 2004 Pontiac GTOs made in Cosmos Purple Metallic. It's also one of only 377 made with a 6-speed manual transmission. Another thing that makes it unique is that it's signed by Jim Wangers, the Pontiac Ambassador that put GTO and the American muscle car era on the map. See it here.

1965 Ford Mustang Mexican Shelby Clone

Powering this Mustang is an ungraded 302 cubic-inch engine, backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It underwent a complete restoration to a Mexican-Style Shelby Coupe, where the six-cylinder was replaced. It tolls on all-new suspension and is painted red with shite stripes over red and white interior. See it here.

1970 Chevrolet Corvette

Having undergone a recent restoration, this stunning 1970 Chevy Corvette is ready for your collection. It is powered by a number’s matching 350 cubic inch V8 engine that makes 350-horsepower. It has a new soft top and gets stopping power from 4-wheel disc brakes. See it here.

1956 GMC Blue Chip Series Half Ton

This is a rare, low-production GMC pickup truck, featuring a 288 cubic inch engine, which was only produced for 6 months. It was restored using original parts, and has a 4-speed manual transmission. See it here.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport

The 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS is one of the most attractive and potent muscle cars ever made. This example is powered by a 454 cubic-inch V8 engine, which is backed by an automatic transmission. It was the subject of a full professional restoration, and needs nothing but a new owner. See it here.
