Broad Arrow Auctions reported €18.3 million in total sales following the conclusion of its Global Icons: Online auction series, a multi-event digital sale focused on landmark collector cars and motorsport memorabilia.
The series consisted of three online auctions held across multiple locations and attracted nearly 800 registered bidders representing 35 countries. According to the company, approximately 90 percent of all lots offered during the series were sold, signaling strong participation and sustained interest from international collectors.
The highest-profile result came from the sale of a 1992 Benetton B192-05 Formula One car driven by Michael Schumacher. The car, offered publicly for the first time, sold for €5.082 million and accounted for a significant share of the overall auction total. The result highlighted continued demand for historically important competition cars, particularly those connected to major moments in motorsport history.
Other notable sales during the Global Icons series included a 2003 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, which brought €561,000, and a 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400 S. Together, the results underscored broad interest across different segments of the collector car market, from modern performance-focused models to classic Italian exotics.
In addition to automobiles, the auction series featured a dedicated memorabilia segment. Items associated with well-known figures from motorsport history, including Ayrton Senna, achieved strong results, reinforcing the appeal of racing-related artifacts alongside vehicles themselves.
Live previews for select offerings were held at high-profile venues such as Roland-Garros Stadium and Salon Rétromobile in Paris, giving bidders the opportunity to view cars and memorabilia in person ahead of the online sales.
Broad Arrow Auctions indicated the Global Icons series reflects growing engagement with online auction formats while maintaining curated, high-value offerings. The company is preparing for its next auction event in May and the upcoming Amelia Auction, scheduled for March 6–7 on Amelia Island, Florida.
