A 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 with just 73 miles is being offered by a selling dealer as one of the final high-performance statements from Dodge’s long-running Challenger lineup.
The car is number 894 of approximately 3,300 Demon 170 examples built for the 2023 model year. It is part of Dodge’s Last Call series, a group of seven special-edition models released to mark the end of Charger and Challenger production. The Demon 170 served as the final special-edition variant and was designed as the most extreme version of the modern Challenger.
Finished in Go Mango over black Alcantara and Laguna leather, the car carries several Demon-specific exterior cues. The Air-Grabber hood features a satin black graphic and Alcohol Injected lettering on the hood-scoop bezel. Other details include Air-Catcher HID headlights, a front splitter with its yellow scuff guards still in place, flared rear quarter panels, dual exhaust outlets and an SRT Performance rear spoiler with an integrated rearview camera.
Power comes from a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi High-Output V8 paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and a 3.09:1 limited-slip differential. The engine uses a 3.0-liter supercharger, a 3.02-inch pulley, a 105mm throttle body and several upgrades over the previous Demon, including revised fuel system components, Nitride-coated intake valves, copper-lead bearings and upgraded cylinder head studs.
Output varies depending on fuel ethanol content. The car is rated at 900 horsepower and 810 pound-feet of torque on conventional E10 fuel, while E85 raises output to as much as 1,025 horsepower and 945 pound-feet of torque. The engine also uses an SRT Power Chiller, which relies on air conditioning refrigerant to cool the intake charge.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a strengthened driveline that includes an improved rear prop shaft and 43-spline rear half shafts. The car rides on black forged aluminum wheels measuring 18 inches in front and 17 inches at the rear, wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. Braking is handled by black four-piston Brembo calipers with yellow SRT lettering over ventilated discs. Additional performance features include edition-specific Drag Mode suspension with adaptive-damping shocks, launch control, line lock and a revised transbrake.
Inside, the Demon 170 blends stripped-down performance intent with premium equipment. Heated and ventilated front seats are trimmed in black Alcantara and Laguna leather, while carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and center console. The Premium Group adds a suede headliner, premium-stitched dash panel, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a trunk-mounted subwoofer. UConnect infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability is also included.
A plaque below the passenger-side air vent identifies the car as number 894. The Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a red 220-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer and a 7-inch configurable digital display. A Last Call plaque is mounted under the hood near the driver-side headlight.
The car was initially delivered to Central Dodge in Raynham, Massachusetts, and is now offered with a Demon decanter set, removed parts, cleaning supplies, manufacturer’s literature and a damage-free Carfax report. Because it has not been sold to a private owner, the vehicle does not have a title and is being offered with its Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin. The selling dealer will assist the buyer with registration and titling.
