A 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe equipped with a 396-cubic-inch V8 and four-speed manual transmission is generating interest in a Florida auction, where bidding has reached $25,000 with nearly two weeks remaining.

Offered by PJ’s Auto World of Clearwater, the Chevelle is part of a limited February release of 10 vehicles presented exclusively for auction. PJ’s Auto World, established in 1979, maintains an inventory of more than 150 collector vehicles, spanning classic muscle cars to street rods and sports cars.
The 1967 model year marked the final iteration of the first-generation Chevelle. As the upscale trim level, the Malibu blended midsize practicality with upgraded styling elements, including refreshed front and rear treatments and wraparound taillamps. While high-performance SS 396 variants often captured headlines, the Malibu remained the sales leader within the Chevelle lineup.

This example was built as a Malibu V8 two-door Sport Coupe at Chevrolet’s Kansas City, Missouri, assembly plant. It is now powered by a 396ci big-block V8 identified with an “IV” suffix code and paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. Performance-oriented modifications include a Holley 670-cfm four-barrel carburetor, HEI electronic ignition, polished aluminum intake, aftermarket headers and a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe. An aluminum radiator has also been added.

Finished in blue, the coupe rides on 15-inch Cragar SS wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The interior features a blue vinyl bench seat, auxiliary tachometer and gauges, and a RetroSound AM/FM radio. Factory equipment includes power steering, front and rear sway bars, a three-spoke steering wheel and chrome sport mirror.

The odometer shows 36,000 miles, noted as true mileage unknown. The vehicle is offered with an owner’s manual and a clean Florida title, presenting enthusiasts with a big-block, four-speed Chevelle that reflects the accessible muscle car spirit of the late 1960s. See it here.
