The Greensboro Auto Auction has hundreds of great home-grown American cars hitting the block this weekend, but what about if you’re after something from Europe or Asia? The good news is that there’s plenty of lots that will interest you, with many making for a great addition to a collection.

Here’s our top 10 import cars from GAA.

1994 Toyota MR2 — Lot: TH0003

Sadly, you’re too late with this one as someone bagged this Japanese sports car for the bargain price of $5000. One of the cheapest ways to get into a mid-engined car, the reliable second generation MR2 is great fun to drive.

This example has only had two previous owners, kept in a garage, and even has the desirable targa roof.

1987 Alfa Romeo Spider —Lot: FR0024

How about a beautiful Italian convertible ready for the summer? This Alfa Spider is an enthusiasts dream, combining handsome looks, a desirable badge, and characterful handling.

This special edition ‘Graduate’ model celebrates the car’s appearance in the 1967 film ‘The Graduate’ starring Dustin Hoffman. If you are interested, you’ll need to be quick as this car goes under the hammer today.

2010 Bentley Continental GTC Speed — Lot: ST0077

If you want the perfect blend of power an elegance, you might want to take note of this Bentley. As a Continental convertible it offers all of the kudos required to waft the streets of Monaco, but thanks to also being a Speed model, it also packs a 600hp turbocharged W12 engine.

You can vanquish 0-60mph in just 4.2 seconds while admiring the craftsmanship of its Birdseye maple wood dash.

1967 Sunbeam Alpine — Lot: TH0068

This little sports car is a Series V Sunbeam Alpine that plays host a 99hp 1.7-liter engine under the bonnet. It might not sound like much, but its lightweight construction means that this classic makes the most of what it has got.

The immaculate blue and white example sold for just shy of $11,000.

2002 Honda S2000 — Lot: FR0015

Honda S2000 values are on the increase with collectors keen to obtain low-mileage examples of the high-revving sports car. This well looked after car has only clocked 19,000 miles from new, making it a prime lot for investors.

The car’s 2.0-liter VTEC engine is the stuff of Japanese sports car legend, so be sure to place a bid on this convertible before it’s too late.

2000 Jaguar XJR — Lot: TH0169

There’s something rather sinister about a Jaguar XJR, don’t you think? If you’re a budding ‘bad guy’ then this well maintained Jag might be for you.

A 370hp supercharge V8 engine lives under the hood of this iconic British luxury saloon, just waiting to roar into life. Despite its stately looks, this Jaguar will get from 0-60mph in just 5.3 seconds.

1971 Land Rover Series II — Lot: ST0037

Sticking with the British theme for a moment, this Series II Land Rover has benefited from a complete nut and bolt restoration. This has involved the engine being rebuilt, attention paid to the suspension and drivetrain, electrics refitted, and a fresh coat of attention grabbing red paint.

The4x4 is so clean that you could eat your dinner off of it, but how long this off-roader stays that way is up to its next owner.

1969 MG C — Lot: FR0098

The MG C is a great way into classic car ownership, and this example even comes with a sought after hardtop. A 145hp 2.9-liter inline-six motor powers this little sports car that appears to be in great health.

Finished in a tradition shade of Old English White, this sports car could become the pride of your collection.

1993 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL — Lot: TH0010

This modern classic is already on its way to a new home after selling for $7000 at its no reserve auction. Its latest custodians will enjoy the 3.0-liter inline-six while cruising with the roof down with the sun in the sky.

In great condition and complete with a removable hard top, this Mercedes-Benz 300 SL appeared to be a good purchase.

1999 Ferrari 456M GTA — Lot: ST0114

The Ferrari 456 received several enhancements  in 1998, becoming the 456M in the process. New aerodynamic body and an updated interior kept the flagship V12 GT up to date. Ferrari also boosted power to its 5.5-liter engine, which in 456M form produces 436hp.

This 456M GTA is an automatic model, one of just 650 ever made.
