Ultimate 2025 Ford Mustang GTD Price Revealed at Over $327K

Ford confirms the 2025 Mustang GTD starts at $327,960, with carbon-fiber roof pushing final price beyond $339K.

Ford has officially revealed the price for its highly anticipated 2025 Mustang GTD, with a starting MSRP of $327,960, according to a recently posted window sticker that quickly spread across online automotive forums.

The sticker, first shared by Mustang GTD owner Kelly Aiken, reveals the precise cost breakdown of Ford's most extreme Mustang variant yet. After destination charges and gas-guzzler tax fees, the GTD’s baseline price settles at just under $328,000.

However, once optional features are added, the total cost climbs even further. Aiken’s GTD, for instance, features a $10,000 carbon-fiber roof and $1,500 red brake calipers, bringing its final sticker price to a staggering $339,460.

A Ford representative confirmed to Car and Driver that the window sticker and associated pricing were authentic.

The Mustang GTD first captured public attention when announced in August 2023, billed by Ford as the ultimate performance iteration of its iconic muscle car. Early estimates pegged the vehicle around $300,000, but later speculation moved the starting figure closer to $325,000—a price now officially confirmed.

Designed as a track-focused yet street-legal machine, the Mustang GTD features advanced racing technologies and exotic materials previously unseen in Ford’s production vehicles. Carbon fiber, aerodynamic enhancements, and specialized suspension components underscore the car’s purpose-built nature, targeting high-end buyers and dedicated track enthusiasts.

With the GTD, Ford directly challenges supercar-level competition, emphasizing high performance and exclusivity rather than affordability. The lofty price tag solidifies the GTD’s position as not just the fastest, but also the most expensive factory-built Mustang ever offered.

Production numbers are expected to remain low, adding to the vehicle's desirability among collectors. Deliveries to customers, like Aiken, are anticipated to commence later this year.
