Specialty Vehicle Engineering has expanded its long-running Yenko/SC performance lineup with the reveal of a 2026 Corvette E-Ray package that pushes output to a claimed 1,564 horsepower. The upgrade applies forced induction to Chevrolet’s hybrid, all-wheel-drive C8 platform, marking a significant step for the tuner as it blends electrification with extreme internal combustion performance.
The Yenko/SC conversion centers on a heavily fortified version of the Corvette E-Ray’s 6.2-liter LT2-based V8 engine. SVE reinforces the aluminum block with a forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam connecting rods, and forged 2618 aluminum pistons. High-strength ARP head and main studs are used throughout, while CNC-ported high-flow cylinder heads, an upgraded valvetrain, a proprietary camshaft profile, and a custom intercooled intake manifold are designed to improve airflow and durability under high boost. Custom valve covers with integrated oil separators are standard, with optional custom manifold paint available.
Power gains come from a pair of 58-millimeter Garrett ceramic ball-bearing turbochargers. Each turbocharger is water-cooled and paired with water-cooled wastegates, allowing the system to deliver its maximum output when running on E85 fuel. While the package requires a minimum of 91-octane E10 fuel, the highest performance figures are achieved using ethanol-based fuel.
Fuel system upgrades are extensive, with enhancements to both high- and low-pressure components. Auxiliary port injection and flex-fuel capability are included to support the increased demand. To handle the added torque, SVE fits a Stage III 8/9 dual-clutch transmission featuring billet baskets and revised pressure controls, aimed at maintaining drivability alongside durability.
Chassis and visual upgrades are also part of the package. Lightweight forged and CNC-machined wheels measure 20 by 10 inches at the front and 21 by 13 inches at the rear, with multiple design and finish options. Yenko-branded brake calipers, exclusive dual-dual exhaust tips, and optional high-flow exhaust components further distinguish the car.
Exterior graphics are available in nine standard colors, along with optional carbon fiber, reflective white, or custom finishes. Interior changes include embroidered floor mats, branded headrests, doorsill plates, and serialized key fobs and power badges.
Production of the 2026 Yenko/SC Corvette E-Ray is limited to 50 units, each individually numbered. Pricing has not been announced, with prospective buyers directed to contact SVE for additional details.
