Even interior components like the seats, dashboard, and infotainment system are gone.
Only fragments remain—a cracked windshield, an exposed fuse box dangling from cut wires, and a few pieces of bodywork still clinging to the frame. The car sits on the ground, devoid of its wheels and drivetrain, a haunting image of what used to be Ford’s ultimate Mustang.
The GT500 was originally built to deliver world-class performance, capable of sprinting from zero to 60 mph in roughly three seconds. With advanced features such as MagneRide adaptive suspension, carbon-fiber components, and a race-tuned chassis, it represented the pinnacle of modern muscle cars. Its transformation from supercar slayer to salvage yard scrap underscores how quickly automotive dreams can unravel when theft enters the picture.
Now listed as “collision” damaged, the remains will likely be sold to a parts buyer or restorer seeking usable panels or structural components. What was once a $75,000 performance icon has become a grim symbol of loss and opportunism — proof that even a 760-horsepower machine isn’t invincible when left in the wrong hands.
