Rimac Automobili has revealed one of its most exclusive offerings to date with the Nevera R Founder’s Edition, a hyper-limited version of its electric flagship reserved for just ten hand-selected clients worldwide. The program sits at the top of the Nevera R lineup, blending record-setting performance with a level of personal access and customization rarely offered in the hypercar segment.
The Nevera R was introduced in August 2024 as Rimac’s new flagship, producing 2,107 horsepower and capable of reaching a claimed top speed of 268 mph. Each of the 40 standard production slots carries a price of approximately 2.3 million euros, or about $2.7 million at late-2025 exchange rates. The Founder’s Edition does not increase production numbers but instead designates ten of those builds for a deeper ownership experience.
Founder’s Edition buyers begin with an intensive, in-person customization process at the Rimac Campus in Zagreb. Using real-time virtual reality design tools, each client works directly with Mate Rimac and the company’s design team to tailor colors, materials, and finishes down to the smallest detail. No two examples are expected to be alike.
Ownership extends far beyond the vehicle itself. Founder’s Edition clients receive ongoing access to Bugatti Rimac headquarters, priority invitations to private previews and events, and opportunities to participate in discussions related to future strategy and research initiatives. Each owner also receives individualized support and benefits throughout their time with the car.
The vehicles themselves reflect this bespoke relationship. Founder’s Edition models feature exclusive two-tone liveries that visually lower the car’s profile, along with a distinctive central roof stripe and design elements referencing Rimac’s early garage-built origins. Interior details highlight key milestones from the company’s history through embroidery and trim work, all executed with a high level of handcrafted finish.
Performance remains the core of the Nevera R’s identity. The electric hypercar accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 1.66 seconds and reaches 100 mph in under three seconds. It can accelerate from 0 to 400 kph and return to a standstill in 25.79 seconds, a figure that surpasses the standard Nevera by more than four seconds. The car also posts sub-eight-second quarter-mile times and reaches 250 mph before braking back to zero in just over 26 seconds.
Driver training is included, with Rimac’s test team preparing owners to handle the car’s capabilities. Delivery is handled personally by Mate Rimac himself. With only ten Founder’s Edition cars planned, the Nevera R program represents both the technical peak of Rimac’s engineering and a tightly controlled experiment in ultra-exclusive ownership.
