Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Blends Supercar Speed With Off-Road Design

Lamborghini expanded its interpretation of performance versatility with the introduction of the Huracan Sterrato, a lifted and ruggedized variant of its mid-engine supercar that emerged toward the end of 2022. Designed as a true crossover in concept, the Sterrato joins the Urus and the historic LM002 as one of the brand’s most adaptable vehicles, blending exotic performance with light off-road capability.

Rather than developing an entirely new platform, Lamborghini based the Huracan Sterrato on the standard Huracan architecture. The car retains its rear mid-engine layout and all-wheel-drive system, allowing power delivery to all four wheels. While still capable on traditional racetracks, the Sterrato was engineered to explore surfaces beyond smooth pavement, expanding the brand’s definition of where a supercar can operate.

Performance figures remain firmly in supercar territory. The Huracan Sterrato accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of approximately 160 mph. While that top speed is lower than some traditional exotics, the tradeoff comes in the form of increased usability and adaptability. Ground clearance is raised by 1.7 inches compared to a standard Huracan, and the car includes a dedicated Rally driving mode tailored for loose or uneven surfaces.

The exterior design reflects its off-road intentions. Features include pronounced fender flares, a roof scoop, additional front lighting, roof rails, and a redesigned rear diffuser. The roof rails allow for mounting a roof box, extending cargo capacity beyond the front trunk and reinforcing the Sterrato’s adventurous image.

The example highlighted wears Verde Selvans Metallic paint and features a Nero Cosmus and Verde Shock interior trimmed in a combination of Alcantara and leather. Lime green accents appear throughout the exterior details, and the car rides on 19-inch wheels. Lamborghini limited production of the Huracan Sterrato to 1,499 units worldwide, underscoring its exclusivity.

This particular vehicle is currently in stock at Lamborghini Miami, where images of it have been shared through the dealership’s social media channels. With its lifted stance, distinctive styling, and limited production, the Huracan Sterrato stands out as one of the most unconventional models Lamborghini has produced, offering a different take on exotic performance without abandoning the brand’s supercar identity.
