A £5M Koenigsegg Jesko, Lamborghini Revuelto, and tuned BMW M3 Touring faced off in a rare all-out drag race.
It is not every day that a drag race pits a multimillion-pound hypercar against a brand-new hybrid supercar and a tuned family wagon. But that’s exactly what unfolded when the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack lined up alongside a Lamborghini Revuelto and a heavily modified BMW M3 Touring.
On paper, the Jesko looks untouchable. The Swedish-built hypercar is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 1,280 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through Koenigsegg’s nine-speed multi-clutch transmission, and with a curb weight of just 1,420 kilograms, the Jesko is as much a feat of lightweight engineering as it is raw power. Originally priced at £2.85 million, values for the Jesko have soared, with current market estimates topping £5 million.
Facing it was Lamborghini’s latest flagship, the Revuelto. The Italian supercar blends old-school and modern technology with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 paired with three electric motors. The hybrid setup delivers 1,015 horsepower and 1,062 Nm of torque to all four wheels. At nearly two tons and with a price tag of £447,000, it brings all-wheel-drive stability to the fight.
Rounding out the trio was a surprise contender: a BMW M3 Touring. Tuned to the extreme, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six produces an astonishing 1,000 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque. With power distributed to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, and a price of roughly £150,000 including modifications, it was the most affordable car on the line but hardly outgunned.
With the Jesko’s rear-drive purity, the Revuelto’s hybrid traction, and the M3’s sleeper power, the showdown underscored today’s wildly diverse performance landscape. Whether hypercar, supercar, or family estate, each contender made the case that speed comes in many forms.
