Hennessey has introduced a high-performance upgrade for the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2, transforming the already capable off-road pickup into a significantly more powerful machine. The Texas-based tuning company has named its latest creation the Goliath 700 ZR2, reflecting both its size and enhanced output.
At the heart of the upgrade is the Silverado’s 6.2-liter V8 engine, now equipped with a twin-screw supercharger featuring air-to-water intercooling and a recalibrated engine control unit. These changes increase output by 66 percent, raising total power to 700 horsepower and 611 lb-ft of torque. In comparison, the stock engine produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. The added performance reduces the truck’s 0-60 mph time from 5.6 seconds to 4.2 seconds, marking a notable improvement for a full-size pickup.

Hennessey has extended its modifications beyond the engine to enhance the truck’s off-road and on-road capabilities. The Goliath 700 ZR2 features an upgraded suspension system developed with BDS, paired with Multimatic DSSV dampers. This setup is designed to maintain stability under increased power while also improving ride quality during highway driving.
The exterior receives functional and visual upgrades, including 20-inch off-road wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires, custom steel bumpers, integrated LED lighting, and a carbon fiber hood vent intended to improve airflow and cooling. Subtle badging distinguishes the model, while the engine bay retains a clean, near-factory appearance with minimal visual changes aside from a Hennessey plaque.
The Goliath 700 ZR2 carries a starting price of $139,950 and is available through authorized Chevrolet dealers. Each model includes a three-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty. Production will be limited to 100 units, emphasizing exclusivity. While competing high-performance trucks such as the Ram 1500 SRT TRX and Ford Raptor R offer lower starting prices, the Hennessey model stands apart with its limited availability and extensive aftermarket enhancements.
