Hennessey Supercharges 70th Anniversary Corvette to a Whopping 758 Horsepower

Texas-based Hennessey Performance Elevates the Commemorative Chevy with Unmatched Power.

Hennessey Performance is at it again, this time supercharging the 70th Anniversary Chevy Corvette, catapulting it to a staggering 758 horsepower, adding an extra dash of adrenaline to this special edition Vette.

Based in Texas, Hennessey Performance has been a notable figure in the automotive tuning sector. This year, they unveiled the H700 Corvette C8 and are now offering a similar powerhouse treatment to the commemorative 70th Anniversary Corvette. This model is projected as a collector's gem, available exclusively in White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat or Carbon Flash Metallic, each accented with racing stripes.

While the 70th Anniversary edition initially flaunts red-edged wheels and emblematic wheel center caps, Hennessey swaps these out for their lightweight counterparts topped with H-branded lids, ensuring the vehicle is stamped with their distinctive signature. Additionally, this edition sports unique anniversary badging, bespoke logos adorning the seats, steering wheel, and sill plates, and a rear bumper protector along with a trunk cover.

Commemorative elements also extend to custom luggage emblazoned with red stitching and the anniversary logo. However, the most pivotal modification resides under the hood, where the engine is coupled with a high-flow 2.65-liter centrifugal supercharger and an air-to-water intercooler. This enhancement enables the 6.2-liter LT2 V8 to generate 708 horsepower and 638 lb-ft of torque, outperforming a standard Corvette Z06.

For those craving an additional kick, Hennessey offers an optional high-flow cat-back sport exhaust system under the H750 package, elevating the horsepower to an impressive 758.

John Hennessey, the CEO, extolled the virtues of the Hennessey H700, noting its power and torque outclass the factory Z06, positioning it as arguably the top value high-performance supercar globally.

Apart from the distinctive exterior branding, mechanical augmentations include an improved auxiliary fuel system, robust chassis dyno calibration, and testing, fortified gaskets, and additional fluids, all backed by a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty, offering enhanced reliability.

While the pricing details for the 70th Anniversary Corvette C8 H700 or H750 packages remain undisclosed, it’s revealed that for standard models, the package commences at $49,950, exclusive of the cat-back exhaust, with the supercharger kit independently available for $34,850, promising a tantalizing blend of exclusivity, power, and aesthetic charm.
