Former Siegfried & Roy Rolls-Royce Corniche IV Offered for Sale in California

A rare piece of Las Vegas entertainment history has emerged on the market as a 1994 Rolls-Royce Corniche IV, originally gifted to illusionist Roy Horn, is now being offered for sale in California. The luxury convertible was presented to Horn in celebration of his 50th birthday and remained in his personal collection for more than two decades.

The vehicle represents one of the final evolutions of the long-running Corniche line, a model rooted in Rolls-Royce’s Silver Shadow platform dating back to the 1960s. By the time the Corniche IV debuted in the early 1990s, it had become one of the most recognizable symbols of traditional luxury motoring, maintaining its classic design while incorporating modern mechanical updates.

Horn’s example is finished in white with a matching cream convertible top and a distinctive white and burgundy leather interior. The car has recorded just 10,000 miles, with the majority accumulated during Horn’s ownership, which lasted 26 years until his death in 2020. The vehicle is described as remaining largely in original condition, preserving the character it had when first delivered.

Under the hood, the Corniche IV is powered by Rolls-Royce’s 6.75-liter V8 engine, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Output is estimated between 220 and 240 horsepower, with an emphasis on smooth power delivery rather than outright performance. The model also introduced features such as adaptive suspension, dual front airbags, and an improved power-operated convertible top system.

Production of the Corniche IV was limited, with only 219 standard units built, making it the rarest iteration of the Corniche series. Including special editions, total production reached just 244 cars. At the time of its release, pricing exceeded $250,000, placing it among the most expensive luxury convertibles of its era.

Inside, the cabin reflects Rolls-Royce’s signature craftsmanship, featuring burl wood veneer, rear picnic tables, and power-adjustable heated seats. The car also includes period amenities such as a CD stereo and automatic climate control.

Now located in Monterey, the vehicle is being offered with original documentation and a clean title. While the power-operated soft top currently requires mechanical attention, the car remains a well-preserved example of both Rolls-Royce engineering and celebrity ownership from a defining era in Las Vegas entertainment.
