Ford, Jaguar, and PACCAR issue major recalls for fuel pump, airbag, and headlight issues, affecting nearly one million vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced sweeping recalls from Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, and PACCAR, impacting nearly one million vehicles across the United States due to safety concerns.

Ford Leads With Massive Fuel Pump Recall
Ford is recalling more than 850,000 vehicles due to a low-pressure fuel pump issue that could cause engines to stall while driving, increasing crash risks. The affected models include:

  • 2021-2023: Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks
  • 2021-2022: Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150
  • 2022: Expedition

Owners will receive notification letters starting Monday, with a second letter to follow once repairs are available. Ford customers can call 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 25S75 for details.

Jaguar Land Rover Recalls 20,000+ Range Rovers
Jaguar Land Rover has issued a recall for more than 20,000 Range Rover Evoque models (2021-2025) due to faulty passenger airbags that may tear or deploy incorrectly. Replacement of the airbag module will be free of charge.

Owner notifications will be mailed starting August 29, and customers can contact Land Rover at 800-637-6837, referencing recall number N945.

PACCAR Trucks Face Headlight Failures
PACCAR is recalling over 56,000 Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks due to headlights that may dim, flicker, or delay activation. The recall covers:

  • Kenworth (2023-2026): T180, T280, T380, T480, T680, T880, L770
  • Peterbilt (2023-2026): 520, 535, 536, 537, 548, 567, 579, 589

While repairs will be free, PACCAR has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners can contact Kenworth at 1-425-828-5888 or Peterbilt at 1-940-591-4220.

NHTSA urges all affected owners to schedule repairs as soon as possible once parts are available, emphasizing that these safety issues can significantly increase crash risks if left unaddressed.
