Two V12 Mercedes From Kristaps Porzingis Collection Head to Kruse Auctions

A pair of 1990s Mercedes-Benz flagships from the personal collection of NBA champion Kristaps Porzingis are set to cross the block at Kruse Auctions’ Auburn Spring 2026 sale, both offered without reserve on Friday, April 24.

The two lots showcase different sides of Mercedes-Benz’s V12 era—one a rare AMG-modified coupe from the pre-merger years, the other a fully equipped luxury sedan representing the brand’s flagship comfort.

1995 Mercedes-Benz S600 AMG Coupe

The standout of the pair is a 1995 Mercedes-Benz S600 AMG Coupe, a rare example built during the early days of AMG before its full integration into Mercedes-Benz.

This car was modified by AMG Japan and is believed to be one of only a handful of S600 models to receive factory AMG enhancements at the time. Power comes from a 6.0-liter M120 V12 engine tuned by AMG to produce 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.

In addition to the performance upgrades, the coupe features a full suite of AMG-specific modifications, including the body kit, suspension, wheels, interior touches, and exhaust system. It is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over a Black and Grey leather interior.

The listing notes approximately 125,160 kilometers (77,770 miles) at the time of cataloging, along with a clean CARFAX report. As a pre-merger AMG car, it represents a period when modifications were less standardized and often more exclusive, adding to its collector interest.

1999 Mercedes-Benz S600 Sedan

Joining the coupe is a 1999 Mercedes-Benz S600 Sedan, offering a more traditional take on Mercedes-Benz luxury from the same era.

Also powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine paired with an automatic transmission, the sedan reflects the brand’s focus on comfort, technology, and refinement during the late 1990s. It is described as being well-equipped, including period features such as a built-in Mercedes-Benz branded phone.

The car benefits from documented mechanical servicing completed in 2023 totaling $8,400, with supporting invoices included. It is also accompanied by registration papers in Porzingis’ name, along with the owner’s manuals and service records.

Two Approaches to Mercedes V12 Performance

Together, these two vehicles highlight the breadth of Mercedes-Benz engineering during the 1990s. The AMG coupe represents a more exclusive, performance-focused interpretation of the S-Class platform, while the sedan emphasizes luxury, technology, and everyday usability.

Both cars will be offered without reserve, adding an additional layer of interest when bidding begins at Kruse Auctions.

For collectors, the combination of V12 power, documented ownership, and the connection to a high-profile owner makes these two lots notable entries in the Auburn Spring 2026 sale.
