This 2015 Superlite SLC Boasts 505 Horsepower And Weighs Just 2500 Pounds

Race to add this to your collection.

In the world of custom-built cars, few stories are as compelling as the creation of the 2015 ASPT Superlite SLC, a kit car that blurs the line between replica and supercar. Crafted meticulously by Jerry Jackson on Siesta Key over a period of eighteen months, this machine is the product of 2,600 hours of intense labor, ingenuity, and dedication.

Built from a kit manufactured by Race Car Replicas, this vehicle is not just a display of automotive passion but a testament to engineering marvel. The car boasts an aluminum space frame chassis elegantly cloaked in a fiberglass and carbon fiber body, striking a perfect balance between strength and lightness.

At the heart of this machine is the powerhouse Chevrolet LS7 V8 all-aluminum dry sump engine, pushing out a robust 505 BHP from its 7.0 liter, 427 cubic inch displacement. Coupled with a Grazziano transaxle, which is shared by the likes of Lamborghini Aventador and Audi R8, the car features a 6-speed manual transmission with LSD and an Audi competition multiplate clutch, making it a dream for any driving enthusiast.

Stopping power is no less impressive, with Brembo 4 piston calipers gripping 355mm discs at the front and 365mm at the rear, ensuring that this lightweight vehicle, weighing in at just 2511 lbs, can come to a halt as impressively as it accelerates.

Further enhancing its appeal, the Superlite SLC is equipped with CAN bus electrics and built-in onboard diagnostics, merging classic car charm with modern technological advancements.

This unique vehicle, branded as a kit car yet exuding the aura of a bespoke supercar, is a remarkable example of what can be achieved when vision, skill, and persistence come together. It stands as a shining example in the custom car world, blending power, beauty, and innovation in a package that is as thrilling to drive as it is to behold.

The Carlisle Auctions team, based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has successfully executed three amazing classic and collector car auctions in 2023. To date, more than 1,200 cars have been offered, with over $14 million in total sales. With one to go, the Carlisle Auctions team invites car lovers from around the southeast and all across Florida to join them in Lakeland, Florida in November. The Lakeland Fall Collector Car Auction ushers in 300+ lotsspanning all eras of automotive production for the two-day event, November 10-11 at the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus and it’s super easy to not only see the action but to be part of it too.

Each day starting at 10:30 AM, one piece of automotive history after another parades across the auction block and just like the “as seen on TV auction events,” the energy in the room is palpable. There’s a certain buzz that befalls the gallery when a crew of world champion auctioneers fires up their unmistakable cadence, combined with a floor of “ring men” working the crowd to help draw top dollar for what can only best be described as rolling pieces of art. From antiques to muscle cars, cool custom vans to trucks, and pretty much everything in between the Lakeland Fall Collector Car Auction has it all.

Speaking of trucks, Carlisle Auctions is proud to announce the return of its popular all-Truck Hour (ATH) on Friday, November 10.  Beginning at approximately 12:30 PM on the 10th, nothing but some of the finest trucks central Florida has ever seen will cross the block for one full hour. This is a new time slot, but offers the same great level of excitement. As part of the ATH, not only do trucks sell at top-dollar, but so will Jeeps, and SUVs too. A convertible or some Detroit muscle may look great on Florida’s highways, but nothing tackles a trail or country road like a truck, and the ATH is THE time to find a great deal on an amazing investment.
