A 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 enhanced with a Magnuson supercharger and extensive performance upgrades is drawing interest at auction in Surprise, Arizona, with bidding reaching $11,800 and several days remaining before the sale closes.
The 2002 model year marked a high point for the C5-generation Z06, a fixed-roof coupe designed with weight savings and track-focused engineering in mind. Powered by the high-revving 5.7-liter LS6 V8 and paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the Z06 earned a reputation for balanced handling and direct driver engagement, helping solidify its standing among modern classic Corvettes.
According to the seller, this example was professionally modified between 2002 and 2006 by 21st Century Muscle Cars in Carrollton, Texas, an authorized Lingenfelter performance shop. Documentation included with the car consists of build invoices, dyno sheets and parts records detailing the installation of a Magnuson supercharger system, camshaft package, upgraded fuel system and suspension and brake enhancements.
A dyno sheet from the build indicates output of 521 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. The car retains its factory LS6 engine, six-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential. Performance upgrades extend to a Wilwood disc brake system, Bilstein sport shocks and GM LS6 sway bars. A Borla exhaust system with electronic cutouts has also been fitted.
Visually, the Z06 features a Tiger Shark body kit, carbon-fiber cowl hood, front splitter and a tubbed rear to accommodate 355-section rear tires mounted on custom three-piece HRE wheels. The interior was reworked by Caravaggio with custom leather upholstery accented by red stitching and carbon-fiber trim. A period Alpine audio system remains in place, now complemented by an Apple CarPlay head unit.
The odometer shows approximately 54,650 miles. The vehicle is offered with a clean CARFAX report reflecting initial sale in Texas and subsequent registrations in Virginia and Arizona. Included are service records, build documentation, wheel and tire invoices, audio manuals and two keys.
Noted imperfections include scrapes on the underside of the front splitter, some interior wear consistent with mileage and minor clear-coat wear on the wheels. See it here.
