Unique RUF Rt Roadster, the only one built, hits Broad Arrow’s Monterey auction with bespoke finishes and exceptional performance.
Broad Arrow Auctions will offer an automotive unicorn at the upcoming Monterey Jet Center Auction: the one and only 2011 RUF Rt Roadster. With an estimate of $900,000 to $1,200,000, this coachbuilt supercar combines performance, rarity, and bespoke craftsmanship in a package that’s unlike anything else on the road.
Commissioned new by a U.S. collector and driven just 6,907 miles since, the Rt Roadster is based on RUF’s legendary Rt 12 S platform, featuring a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing 600 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, the Roadster delivers performance that eclipsed the 911 Turbo S of its era.
What sets the Rt Roadster apart isn’t just its power, but its design. Inspired by the original 1967 Porsche 911 “soft-window” Targa, the car features a removable two-piece hardtop, a matte-finish Dark Grey roll bar, and a sleek silhouette painted in Chroma Flash Hologram Matt—a color that subtly shifts hues with the light. Its 19-inch center-lock forged wheels frame carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow RUF-branded calipers, while the suspension is tuned in-house by RUF.
Inside, red leather upholstery is accented with silver stitching, carbon fiber trim, and Stone Grey carpets. The unique interior spec extends the exterior color onto numerous trim pieces. Foldable carbon bucket seats, a BOSE Surround Sound system, and touchscreen navigation complete the experience. A June 2024 RUF Zertifikat confirms it retains its original engine and transmission.
The Rt Roadster received recent maintenance at RUF North America, including new tires, fluid service, and cosmetic work. Offered with complete documentation and a clean CARFAX, it’s a true one-of-one in every sense.
