Ultra-rare 2019 Porsche 935 in unique Piper Green livery to cross the block at Broad Arrow's Zurich sale.
A rare, track-only 2019 Porsche 935 with bespoke livery and just delivery mileage is set to headline Broad Arrow Auctions’ Zurich sale this year, with an estimated hammer price of CHF 1,200,000 to CHF 1,500,000.
Built to commemorate Porsche’s 70th anniversary, this example is one of just 77 units produced and remains in single-ownership from new. Finished in a striking "Piper Green" with white accents, the car pays tribute to legendary British privateer David Piper, whose green 917 K became an icon of Porsche’s endurance racing legacy.
Built on the proven 991.2-generation GT2 RS platform, the modern 935 combines historic styling with cutting-edge motorsport engineering. It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 700 PS (691 horsepower), paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Porsche claims the car is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with an estimated top speed approaching 330 km/h (205 mph).
Though inspired by classic race cars, the 2019 Porsche 935 is a thoroughly modern track weapon. Factory-built for circuit use only, it features a full FIA-compliant roll cage, a single racing bucket seat, a 115-liter fuel cell, and a fire suppression system—ensuring safety and performance in equal measure.
What makes this particular example even more desirable is its virtually new condition. The car has never seen track use and still presents with only delivery mileage.
