One of just 13 Venom GTs built, chassis 03 boasts 725 horsepower and a Lotus-derived chassis in a striking red finish.
A highly exclusive 2011 Hennessey Venom GT, chassis number 03 of just 13 ever built, is poised to make waves at Broad Arrow Auctions’ Monterey Jet Center sale this August. With an estimate of $350,000 to $450,000 and no reserve, the American-engineered hypercar promises to draw global interest from collectors and performance enthusiasts alike.

Powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged LS9 V8 producing 725 horsepower, this Venom GT is one of only two cars configured without the later twin-turbo system that pushed output to over 1,200 horsepower. Instead, it offers a more analog but still ferocious experience through a six-speed Ricardo manual transaxle, channeling raw power to the rear wheels via a lightweight, Lotus-derived carbon-fiber monocoque.
Clad in Venom Red with exposed carbon fiber aerodynamic accents, the car is equipped with 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires, carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes, and an adjustable suspension. The interior features black leather and Alcantara, white contrast stitching, and modern essentials like air conditioning and a full instrumentation suite, reflecting its dual role as both track weapon and street-legal road car.

The Venom GT’s story began with John Hennessey’s vision to combine American horsepower with lightweight European chassis design. The result was a hypercar that would go on to unofficially claim a world-record top speed of 270.49 mph in its highest-performing form.
Chassis 03 has had a multinational journey, previously registered in the U.K., Bulgaria, and Germany before making its way to the U.S. under current ownership. Fewer than 2,300 kilometers show on the odometer. A minor cosmetic incident during early testing led to the replacement of the rear spoiler and diffuser, with comprehensive service carried out as recently as 2022.

This Venom GT represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the defining hypercars of its era, blending brute American force with European finesse in a package built for speed, exclusivity, and investment-grade appeal.
