A rare 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP640-4 Roadster, one of just 18 produced for the final model year, is headed to sale in France with an estimated value of €250,000 to €280,000. The example highlights the most developed open-top version of Lamborghini’s long-running V12 flagship, combining low production numbers with extensive documentation and careful long-term ownership.

The Murciélago LP640-4 marked a significant evolution of Lamborghini’s halo car when it debuted at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Power came from an upgraded 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 640 PS, paired with a six-speed e-Gear automated manual transmission equipped with launch control. Performance figures placed the car firmly among the fastest road-going supercars of its era, while revised aerodynamics and updated front and rear fascias sharpened its appearance. Distinctive asymmetrical side air intakes, including one dedicated to cooling the oil system, further set the LP640-4 apart from earlier Murciélago variants.

The Roadster version followed later in 2006, bringing the same mechanical upgrades along with a removable soft top and a cockpit designed with a clear driver focus. Production of the Roadster was extremely limited by 2010, with only 18 examples built primarily for European and American markets.

This particular car, chassis ZHWBE47S09LA03352, is finished in Bianco Isis over a Bianco Polar full leather interior. Factory options include diamond-stitched Q-Citura seats with red contrast stitching, exposed carbon fiber interior trim, and a visible carbon fiber engine brace. The specification emphasizes a blend of restrained exterior color with detailed interior finishes.

Delivered new to Switzerland in March 2010 through Lamborghini St. Gallen, the car remained in the region for much of its life and benefits from a documented service history from new. Maintenance records show regular annual servicing, most recently completed in June 2025 at Supercar Garage Munich. That visit included an engine-out procedure to service the e-Gear transmission alongside scheduled maintenance, with invoices totaling more than €24,000.

At the time of consignment, the Murciélago shows 23,206 kilometers and is offered with its factory manuals, service book, and associated documentation. The car will be available for in-person viewing at Roland-Garros Stadium from January 27 through January 30, 2026, ahead of its sale in France. See it here.
