2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Roadster Draws Strong Interest as Auction Nears Close

A 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Roadster is generating attention as bidding continues with three days remaining in an online auction based in Morganville, New Jersey. The current high bid stands at $16,060, with 21 bids placed and more than 4,300 views logged, underscoring continued interest in early third-generation Viper models.

The 2003 model year marked the debut of the third-generation Viper, introducing a complete redesign that emphasized reduced weight, increased structural rigidity, and uncompromising performance. At the center of the transformation was an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V10 producing 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with a 3.07 final drive. Performance figures include a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed approaching 189 mph.

Finished in Bright Silver Metallic, this roadster features a leather and suede interior configured in a two-seat bucket layout. Factory equipment includes adjustable pedals, air conditioning, dual front airbags, xenon HID headlights, a manual convertible soft-top, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels. Large Brembo brakes and forged wheels were part of the model’s track-focused engineering, while side-exit exhaust outlets reinforced its aggressive character.

The seller reports recent maintenance and servicing, including an oil and filter change. Documentation provided through a clean CARFAX history report outlines extensive past work, including brake service, wheel bearings, battery replacement, cooling system repairs, suspension components, fluid flushes, and engine-related repairs performed between 2018 and early 2025. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with 2022 date codes are currently fitted.

Several modifications have been added, including a Borla cat-back exhaust, K&N intake, short-throw shifter, skip-shift eliminator, BC Racing coil-over suspension, Morimoto fog lights, carbon fiber-look interior trim, aftermarket door sill accents, and a Pioneer head unit paired with upgraded speakers.

Known issues include damage to the left rocker panel attributed to improper jacking, heat-related body damage near the exhaust outlets, inoperative tire pressure monitoring, and minor paint chips.

The seller acquired the car in September 2025 and reports driving approximately 200 miles since purchase. The vehicle is offered with one key and a clean New Jersey title, with the seller indicating that an existing loan will be satisfied prior to ownership transfer. Only 1,875 examples were produced for the 2003 model year, reinforcing the car’s rarity as bidding continues. See it here.
