This is your chance at glory.
It seems like just about everybody loves classic muscle cars, especially one like this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is no tribute vehicle, but instead is a numbers-matching SS with the original build sheet to prove it. It’s a fine specimen that could become yours because it’s on the auction block right now through Awesome Joe Auctions.
Draped in Fathom Blue with white stripes, this car looks about as perfect as you could expect. It retains all the factory badging and rally wheels, while the chrome on the bumpers and other trim pieces is mirror-like. Plenty of people would openly admire a ride like this, even at car meets and shows where there are some impressive vehicles. Of course, it’s been through a top-to-bottom restoration which appears to have left no flaw unaddressed.
Looking quite original but likely spruced up with some new materials, the black interior is also impressive. All the factory switchgear and gauge cluster are there, plus the OE radio. Like the seat upholstery, the door panels look entirely damage-free.
Under the hood is a numbers-matching 396ci V8 with an Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock manifold, and ceramic headers. According to the seller, a Comp Cams dyno shows the engine is making 502-horsepower, so this muscle car should really move. The four-speed manual transmission adds further to the authenticity and fun of this ride.
Located in Delray Beach, Florida, the seller says this car comes with two extra wheels just in case. It will be on the auction block for about a week, so now’s a good time to register to bid, then watch this auction closely.
If this Chevelle is just a little too pricey for your budget or it’s not the dream car you’ve always wanted, you can look around at the other cars being auctioned on Awesome Joe Auctions.
