1960 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I Is Pure Vintage Class

This left hand drive roaster belongs in your UK collection.

The 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 is a highly desirable European collectible. This particular example is a left hand drive model which was delivered to San Fransisco when it was new. It would stay in the same family until 2003, and kept in excellent, original condition. It’s currently for sale on Bring a Trailer, and you’d better get ready to bid because interest is soaring.

Bought in 2009 during a stalled restoration, the current owner of this 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I gave it an overhaul it deserved. It was repainted in a stunning Healey Blue paint coat, got blue leather seating, and a new soft top.

Moving the wheels is a rebuilt and modified 2,912cc inline-six. Backing the engine is a four-speed manual transmission, and it rolls on 15-inch steel wheels. A new exhaust system was fitted for the car to breathe through. It’s also recently gotten new tires and an inspection to prepare it for the sale.
