Worldwide Auctioneers Is Selling A Stunning 1956 Chevy: 'Shades of Love' Custom

This classic custom is ready to hit the track.

In the 1950s, the idea of going fast was something mainly reserved for superhero/action movies and the military. However, there was one other way to reach unthinkable speeds even if the process took many years to pull off. That was to custom build your ride into a full-on hot rod making about the farthest thing from a factory example possible without changing so much that people didn't recognize the make and model. That's exactly what this 1956 Chevy did.

This 1956 Chevrolet 210 is a great car to represent as the custom Bodywork and engine design make great use of 582 cubic inches of displacement. The V8 engine makes around 1000 horsepower at the wheel which should leave no questions as to whether it could beat nearly anything on four wheels. All of the detailed work done to this car earned it the name ” Shades Of Love.”Such a beautiful name requires an equally good-looking exterior design and that's exactly what the Chevy got.

One feature that might tip you off to that fact is the bright Orange paint job that covers the entire body making the vehicle stand out on the road. You’ll notice the original chrome seems to still sit in its usual place, unlike many other builds that aim for a sleeker approach. Both of these options were utilized in hopes of creating something truly unique and the interior seals the deal with matching Orange and Black colors on all sides. Overall, this is a very well-put-together custom classic that perfectly exemplifies everything that makes the Bel Air lineup so cool.
