Custom 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Emerges as SEMA Standout Ahead of Scottsdale Auction

A meticulously built 1957 Chevrolet 3100 custom pickup drew widespread attention at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and is now slated to cross the block at the 2026 Scottsdale Auction, where it will be offered without reserve. Displayed as part of the Barrett-Jackson exhibit, the truck stood out for its towering stance, detailed craftsmanship, and blend of modern performance with classic design.

Finished in Clearwater Blue, the pickup was designed and built by Stafford’s Garage and sits on a Roadster Shop RS4 chassis. The truck is no stranger to the SEMA spotlight. It was featured at the show in 2024 and previously earned a Top 12 overall finish in the 2023 SEMA Battle of the Builders, placing in the Top 3 within the Off-Road category.

Power comes from a 525-horsepower LS3 crate engine paired with a Stage III Gearstar 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission. Supporting components include a Holley mid-mount serpentine system, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and a Holley Terminator X Max engine management system. An Atlas transfer case routes power, while polished stainless long-tube headers and a custom stainless exhaust system complete the drivetrain.

The engine bay reflects extensive fabrication work, featuring a bespoke firewall, custom inner fenders, grille support, and neatly hidden wiring. Color-matched components further highlight the show-quality presentation. Braking is handled by a 16-inch big brake system with six-piston billet calipers at each corner.

The truck rides on custom three-piece 20x10-inch billet wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich 35x12.50x20 Mud-Terrain KM3 tires. Exterior fabrication details include radius door edges, tapered drip rails, sculpted bedside ends, automated electric power steps, custom billet taillights, and Kindig-It Design door handles.

The bed is finished with curly maple planks, polished stainless strips, concealed hardware, and a custom-machined fuel filler. Inside, modern technology is integrated with premium materials. Features include Dakota Digital RTX gauges, Restomod Air climate control, a Bluetooth-enabled audio system, Apex leather and suede upholstery, German square-weave carpeting, and a custom center console. Additional elements include a Sparc Industries billet steering wheel, Ididit steering column, Lokar pedals, and Buddy Bucket-style seating with integrated storage.

The truck has earned multiple awards, including Top 12 Goodguys Truck of the Year, Top Truck and Top 25 honors at the Tri Five Nationals, and Best of Show awards across the Southeast. It has also been featured in several automotive publications.

With its extensive accolades and no-reserve status, the 1957 Chevrolet 3100 is poised to be a headline attraction when it heads to the Scottsdale Auction in January 2026.
