Broad Arrow Auctions is set to present a concentrated lineup of high-performance collector cars from the 1990s and 2000s during its Amelia Auction, scheduled for March 6–7, 2026, at the Ritz-Carlton on Amelia Island. The two-day sale, held in conjunction with the Amelia Concours, will feature more than 150 vehicles and place a strong emphasis on culturally significant models from the turn of the millennium.
Leading the group is a 1996 Nissan NISMO 400R, one of the most sought-after Japanese performance cars of its era. Produced in extremely limited numbers, the model developed a cult following long before it became legally importable to the United States. Its reputation was fueled in part by its appearance in late-1990s racing video games, where it gained recognition among enthusiasts who had never seen one in person. The example headed to Amelia Island is number eight of 44 produced and is among a small number believed to be in the U.S.
Also headlining the sale is a 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet, an ultra-rare open-top variant derived from the brand’s success in German touring car racing. Built in limited numbers, the high-performance convertible combined race-inspired engineering with luxury finishes and was among the fastest four-seat convertibles of its time. The Amelia Auction example was delivered new in Germany and later spent time overseas before being imported to the U.S. in 2024.
The auction lineup extends well beyond those two models, offering a broad snapshot of peak performance from the era. Additional highlights include a low-mileage 1993 Jaguar XJ220, once the world’s fastest production car, along with a 2005 Ford GT, a 1997 Mercedes-Benz SL 70 AMG, and a rare 2001 RUF RGT. European and modern-classic enthusiasts will also find a Ferrari 360 Modena with a gated manual transmission, a BMW Z8, and a 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S equipped with factory aero packages.
Broad Arrow’s Amelia Auction continues to reflect growing interest in cars that shaped enthusiast culture during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Limited consignment opportunities remain, and bidder registration is currently open ahead of the March event.
