The E24 was the chassis code for a large grand touring coupe introduced by BMW in 1976 and sold until 1989. The car was classically proportioned and featured rear wheel drive, four seats, and a front mounted straight six engine. The US market got the 630CSi, 633CSi, 635CSi, and M6 models. Power ranged from 176hp to 256hp in the M6. The 6 series offered speed, style, and driving enjoyment that was unbeatable by any of its competitors.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this nice 1989 BMW 635csi for your consideration. The car is finished in Schartz Black over black interior and the car is in great shape. The paint is quite nice although some of the black plastic trim shows a little wear and fading. The car sits on modern chrome 17in wheels and features a sunroof and rear spoiler. The interior is very clean and features black cloth and leather sport seats that have a bit of wear in the leather. The dashboard is very clean and free of cracks. The car features A/C, power windows, power seats, power mirrors, power locks, trip computer, an aftermarket Alpine head unit, and rear center console.
Powered by a 182hp 3.4l inline 6 cylinder, mated to an automatic transmission, this classy BMW is both smooth and sporty. The car goes down the road very well and is a comfortable cruiser. Nice E24s are getting hard to find and this nice example is an affordable classic!
